From 2006 to 2008, I worked as an intern, then a freelance reporter for People, first in L.A., then in New York. During these two years I interviewed Oprah Winfrey, Kate Winslet, Donald Trump, Rosie O’Donnell and Hugh Jackman (among more lesser knowns) and received reporting bylines on breaking news cover stories, including the Virginia Tech tragedy and Britney Spears’ divorce, as well as contributed to People’s special issues.
